This website has been designed to provide you with information about our church, Ardtrea United Church. We are a family-oriented church where people of all ages are welcomed and supported. We want to extend a very warm welcome to come and join with us in Christian worship, service and fellowship.

We are an accessible rural church located in Severn Township just north of Orillia off Hwy #11. We have a real homespun hospitality where there are no strangers, only friends we haven’t met yet.

We invite you to come and get acquainted to become part of a vibrant, active church that has a deep love for God and God’s world. We have a continuing commitment to outreach both locally and globally. Whatever your interests, there are folk here willing to do whatever is necessary to walk with you on your journey of faith.

Ardtrea United Church is a place where, each Sunday, we gather to celebrate God’s love and presence in our daily lives. We encourage each other, in fellowship, to pursue a faith journey.

Through music, both the traditional old favourite hymns and the newer praise choruses, scripture, prayer and spoken word, presented in a variety of ways, we endeavour to fulfill the words of Christ. We celebrate, in various ways, the highlights of the Christian year, especially Christmas and Easter. We invite you to join us for our special candlelight service on Christmas Eve as we recount the story of Jesus’ birth and to share with us the joy of the resurrection on Easter morn. Many of our friends from the community join us for these very special Christian holidays.

There has been a congregation of worship in the Ardtrea community since 1860. We have a great heritage to look back upon and the incentive to ensure that strong spiritual life will continue in this place far into the future. We would like to welcome your family when you are able, to join us in fellowship and worship.
